
The Lagos state university lost one of its law students when a callous bus driver stabbed him to death over a dispute.
The death of the student, Ugwanyi Cyril Onyekachi , a 500 Level student of the Faculty of Law with Matric Number 130411107, sparked protest among students of the school on Monday.
PM News gathered that the deceased had a brawl with a commercial bus driver for scratching his car. The resultant brawl led to the student being stabbed to death by the bus driver with a broken bottle.
The protest was led by the Students Union president Samuel Kappo.

Activities at the Lagos State University (LASU) was Monday halted after students stormed the school protesting alleged killing of their colleague, a 500-level law student, Cyril Onyekachi. This came barely three days to the grand finale of the 21st Convocation Ceremony of the institution scheduled to hold on Thursday
It was gathered that the protest further degenerated after the school internal security operatives held the student leadership in effort to halt the protest.

But at press release by LASU stated the students have returned to their respective activities.
